3 Volt Battery Case

This is a trough for holding 2 AA batteries in series. It is meant to have metallic contact strips installed in each end. One end should have one piece of conductor that stretches the full length, and the other end should have 2 pieces of conductor sticking up to attach to. I used Plumber's Tape for the conductor and it is working well.

EDIT: The preview shows a rectangular block, but it has geometry on the hidden side.
