Use an electric screwdriver to screw an M3.5 / M3 into the frame holes to loosen them up. Also use something to slightly widen the holes on the cap itself. Then place the cap in postition and screw the bolts all the way in (leave a little bit of room for it to move).

Remember to invert the orientation of the cap!
