The first garden sign is blank to allow for your own text. There is a indentation near the top of the sign that will hold a 3/4" label (I like to use a 3/4" P-Touch yellow label). The idea behind this was to print generic text below the slot like CORN, BEANS, CARROTS, etc. and the label slot will allow you to have more defined text like Blue CORN, Peaches and Cream CORN, etc.
