Binocular eclipse filter for 50mm welding shade

This is a two part threaded binocular filter holder. It friction fits on the the end of the binoculars and holds a 50mm welding shade filter.

I made this specifically for a pair of binoculars I already had - Bushnell Falcon 7x35. I don't know if these are the optimal binoculars for eclipse viewing but I thought I would try them.

The holder is not universal but it is easy to model with Autodesk Fusion 360 and the threading feature so is an example if you make a set for a different pair
