So my small shop vac, where my 3D printers are located, the plastic hose broke where the tapered ends fit inside one another. The plastic is soft and flexible yet it split causing the hose ends not to stay fixed together as it should. I printed these collects to slip into place and keep the hoses together.

This fits the vacuum shown not sure what exact size you would need but you get the idea if it happens to you.
