This is a snapping pivot hinge. It does not have a pin or screw. I intend those to be metal hardware. A nail can be used as a pin to keep the two parts together. The rail can be attached to what you want to hinge together. Then slide the SNAP-HINGE in place and screw/ rivet/ bolt it into place. Connect the two parts of the hinge with the pin you choose.
