Solar Filter For Canon PowerShot SX530 HS

The Canon PowerShot SX530 HS is a nice 50X superzoom camera that can be reprogrammed using CHDK (http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/CHDK) and costs about $200 new, and even less as a factory refurb. The cool thing is it zooms to an equivalent of 1200mm, which is just about perfect for photographing the moon, the Sun, or an eclipse like the one most of the USA will see on August 21, 2017. The catch is it needs a solar filter, but pre-made ones are expensive and the SX530 doesn't even have a filter thread
