I used a round file to clean all the holes and then tapped to 3mm with a 0.5mm pitch. The screws used to connect the two halves of the part were 5mm in length, and the set screws used were 6mm in length. Using screws longer than 5mm to connect the two halves may result in damage to the camera lens. When assembling the part, check that the screws do not protrude into the camera lens area. Using a 5mm long machine screw should result in a flush finish on the inside of the part.
