Pet Door Gate Latch Replacement

This is a replacement part for my pet gate. The original mechanism required you to lift a loop while pushing a button and was difficult to operate if you were carrying something. Using this part and a bungee cord now I just have to kick it open with my foot and it closes by itself.

It should work for any pet gate with 20mm square bars.
