Bird Coin Experiments

Here are 3 coins and a plaque decorated with bird images. The images come from photographs; two use openSCAD's polygon command. A third coin uses a posterized version of one photograph. The posterize command in Adobe Photoshop was used to create a 2 dimensional array containing 5 values for input to openSCAD's surface command. The plaque is a larger version of the posterized coin.

The coins are 1.5 inches in diameter and are suitable for use on a standard checkerboard.
