The "owl" shaped panels on the bird scarer or "Gull Sweeper" broke after a long time in the weather. This is a replacement and works as the original did.
POST PRINT UPDATE: For those who might have been concerned about strength or durability, we've had a few 100km/hr + winds whip through here since I installed these on my boat and there's been no damage or deteriation at all. :-)
