Panasonic Viera 3D Eyewear battery cover w.o. nose wings

This is a little pet project of mine. A friend has a Panasonic Viera TV, I am frequently forced to use the TV glasses for watching 3D bluray movies.

Since Panasonic seems to hate people with glasses the nose wings of their 3D glasses are not removable. You are forced to use the TY-ER3D5ME / TPCD32601 Glasses with a huge gap between the real and the 3D glasses.
