If you ultimately get tired of the lens flopping up and down the length of the housing as I did, this design solidly locks the original lens bracket in an adjustable semi-permanent location.

Once you've assembled the lens and lens locking assembly and are happy with it I strongly recommend applying a small amount of CA glue to where the original arms snap into the side of the original lens frame. When these pop out it generally requires complete disassembly to snap them back in. DO NOT glue
