3d printed Armor chainmail Experimental FDM mail quad scalemail

This is an experiment. I haven't printed it myself. The idea is that it has a stronger base so that, if worn in a larger suit, it's more comfortable and doesn't just jab into the skin. However, I'm worried about layering issues regarding the overhangs on the upper plates.
