I initially had the clips mounted in the same setup like the pictures. I got tired of having to hold up the keyboard and trackpad with my thumbs while I used them. The design is a remix of areeve20's design to solve that problem. I just used Tinkercad and added a rectangular cube of the distance I measured that would result in the angle I like best for typing and track-padding. Maybe I'm not the only one who wanted something like this; it declutters my desktop nicely.
