Rodent brain section guide

This is a guide for section rodent brains into 1 mm sections at room temperature. It has a base and a frame. I first place the frame on a piece of gauze. Then place the brain on the gauze and in the frame. The ventral surface of the brain is facing up for identifying the land marks. I then place two razor blades into the slots to get a 1 mm section.
