Here's a Lego Duplo compatible excavator shovel. It can be used on many different Duplo vehicles (I tried with three).

Update:
I updated the model to version v2. It now looks a little smoother and connects more firmly to other duplo blocks. I also improved the compatibility with several duplo vehicle chassis.
