Fan intake trumpet for 40mm fans. Need two empty mounting holes. Use wood glue or even teflon for a tighter fit if necessary.
I noticed almost all of my 40mm fans created a torus of air rotation on the outter edges of the blades from poor manufacturing/design margins. This just kept air moving on the outside of the fan, and did not push as much air through as it should have been.
