Magnetic Latch

I was getting ready to repaint our kitchen when I found that the window shutter latches had basically disintegrated due to UV light from the sun. When I went to remove them they just crumbled into bits and pieces. The magnets were still fine and the chances of finding some exactly like this would be very time consuming if not impossible. The thought of filling in all those holes to get new ones to fit did not sound like fun either.
