buckytube space frame joiners

Some bits to make a bucky tube space frame. This is a simple tube as shown on http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:263765
It has 8 faces per layer.
Printed at full scale it has 6mm holes. Plastic drinking straws were used in the photo above to show how it goes together. I don't recommend straws.
Using something like wooden dowel - quite large tubes could be made.
