Velleman 3d Printing Pen Jam Repair

We have a Velleman 3D pen which started jamming a little while back.

On investigation, it turns out that the entry path for filament through the extruder is a little too free: it's very easy for the filament to go out of the extruder and either push down the side of the internal bowden tube, or actually push against the bowden tube entry so hard that it damages the tube entry point.
