Thread in Wire Bushing

I had a 3/8" hole from a potentiometer in a tin that had been repurposed to allow a 12GA speaker wire to pass. I resized a nut and bolt to fit the hole and put a oval hole in the middle to allow the wire to pass protected from the metal edge. The hole for the wire is tight and a couple of drops of soapy water allowed it to be easily pulled through.
