In many spool holders the spool hangs on a simple threaded rod. Since it has a pretty large rotational resistance which strains your stepper motors, I designed a tube to put on the threaded rod which can be mounted with axle bearings.
I used very standard ones I got from old inline skates with an outer radius of 11.1 mm and a width of 7 mm.
The rotational resistance is thereby lowerd significantly which protects your stepper motors against damage by heavy work.
The tube should fit most
