lm8uuaj adjustable bearing y mounts

I'm building mendel 90, in canada (Québec) and I can't find 8mm smooth rods here. So I bough 5/16 which is 7,94mm and I fond on the net lm8uuaj which is a bearing with a little slot. It is made to fit 8mm rods, but It can be squeezed to reduce the diameter to 5/16.

This design fits for regular lm8uu bearings as well.
