zAxis for corexy printer

I build a core-xy printer based on Scribblej's corexy (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:413394) design. However, I didn't like the way the z axis worked, so I designed my own. Actually, I have nothing agains ScribbleJ's, but I don't have access to a large enough laser cutter to make the bed -- especially since I resized the plans to make a printer with 300mm^3 of build volume.

I am planning to build the heat bed support out of more 2020 extrusion.
