This handy filament guide and cleaner works best for spools that are positioned behind the printer not on top. Filament cleaner uses cotton balls, sponges, or foam with a few drops of mineral oil. Version 2.0 introduces a strengthened printer frame mount and reduces filament scraping. Version 2 was designed to allow a spool holder with tracks on either side of the cleaner without interfering with the spool.
