This mount is designed to mount a micro camera of the type VM2751 to a (relatively) flat surface, using adhesive silicone or another flexible glue.
A great glue for this purpose is Permatex Black Silicone Adhesive Sealant.
Silicone will stick very well to a rough surface like a flight controller.
The grooves at the bottom of the camera mount are designed to sink and grip into the glue.
If you want to make it stick to a smoother surface, its helps the bond when you roughen up that surface, or even drill holes into it, so the silicone has something to hold onto.
- advantage: very strong and flexible bond, heat resistent
- disadvantage: takes 12-24h to set
Also a very good glue to put this mount into place: hot glue.
The mounts are made from ABS, they will not melt at 200˚C.
Most hot glue will melt at that temperature, I suggest to use low temp hot glue.
What I like most is soft black keratin, which is sold in 11mm diameter sticks ar hair extension glue. Heat that stuff up t
