Skil 5in random orbital sander Shopvac adapter

The skil sander comes with a disposable filter canister that you can try to shake out, but you can't remove the filter to ever really get it clean. I tried several universal vacuum hose adapters in an attempt to use my shop cyclone dust collector with the sander but none of them would fit.

This adapter (1.5" ID to 2.25" ID) twists onto the sander using the factory posts to lock it in place and has a very snug fit to the shopvac 2.25" adapter used with all the other parts that came with it.
