CR-10 Z-Axis Stepper mount

I installed a e3dv6 clone with Volcano on my CR-10, and while things work, I had maybe 3 if not 4 threads left to adjust my bed (and at some point (2-1) the bed starts flapping around. So while I was taught and things were good, I didn't like being at the edge. The stock mount is 12mm tall, mine is 10mm, also 10mm wide (9.9mm) (which is almost like the stock setup (this has to be taken into consideration on how the Z rod works, make sure it's not tweaked out of level etc.
