This is a small fix I used to repair my trip recorder which could not been reseted anymore. There's a straightforward guide with pictures you'll find here -> https://goo.gl/7Xjkdv
(It is in German though) This guide shows how to dismount the speedometer. Instead of adhering a peace of plastic you can use this tiny part to repair the broken mechanism. Enjoy!
