Hot shoe lamp mount

I bought this http://www.ebay.com/itm/350796927778?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649 it's a dive lamp with 1600 lumens. And I wanted to mount it on my camera.

I drew the parts in Autodesk inventor. And my camera is a Nikon D50

I will go out and test it tonight.
