A Stellated Icosahedral Snowflake

This is a project that I have been envisioning for a long time. The underlying polyhedron is one of the 59 highly symmetric stellations of the icosahedron. This polyhedron surface is comprised of 60 congruent pentagonal faces. The faces come in 20 sets of 3 coplanar faces.

Each of the 60 faces is etched with one point of a fractal snowflake. Although the finished model looks solid it is hollow on the inside.
