Block Puzzle

I received a wooden puzzle for Christmas and thought it might be a neat challenge to design a similar puzzle that I could A. replicate for friends and B. would be a nice conversation piece. I designed this one specifically to be spherical when assembled.

There are 6 pieces to the puzzle and they are all identical.

I have not printed this myself just yet, but give me a few days and I'll update this summary with notes and reflections from my experience.
