Coat Hanger Hybrid 3D Printer Kick Stand Design

Coat hangers are great for all sorts of maker projects!

In this project I needed to create a 3D printed kickstand that could be incorporated into any of my future designs that would be easy to implement, robust and cheap to make and repeat.

Initially I tried to design the stand as a one piece 3D print and though it was an interesting (and frustrating) project, it wasn’t robust or stable and cleanup was very difficult.
