Storage shelf pole joiner

I bought some storage shelves to use as a desk. The manufacturer expected to use a shelf as the joint between the upper and lower half. Not only was this very unstable, but it made the shelf the wrong height for a desk. So, here are brackets to hold the halves together, along with one that has a hook for hanging headphones, and a foot to protect the floors.
