Strap buckle for loop at end of leash

I created this female buckle to serve as a replacement for the original (after my dog chewed it). I took advantage that the leash had a nice loop where the broken female buckle was. The leash width is 1inch.
You'll need 1.8-1.9" long by 1/4" bolt (and nut) to fix the buckle to the loop on your leash. The bolt should have a good part of a smooth surface (no thread). The less thread that is in contact with the leash the better in terms of future wear.
