I created this scalpel blade cover after grabbing the wrong end of the scalpel twice in a row, when it was in my bag..
I designed this to fit a scalpel nr. 3, but perhaps it will work for other models too. The cover makes use of a screw thread to make sure it won't come of the blade in your bag.
