One of my friends had asked me to 3D print something that would allow him to fix his broken GYM Access Key Fob. These are the types of fobs used for Door Access Control in office building, apartments, schools, and home security. Apparently, the keychain cutout in the normal HID Key Fobs is prone to breakage after heavy use. To make matters worse some companies are charging users a lot of money to replace damaged or lost Key Fobs. Making this quick and cheap solution even more appealing.
