inside cabinet door flip-up cookbook shelf

I wanted something to keep a cookbook or tablet at eye level when cooking. This design folds flat against the inside of a cabinet door (I have one which swings out near my usual work area). The "hinges" connect with turkey-lacing pins cut to the right length and with a small jag at the end so they hold when forced in. The pins I get are about 10cm in length so two equal-length halves meet in the middle block for each hinge (4 pins or rods total). Any other steel rod or pin about 1.5mm in diamet
