Maker Badge... or something?

SO I needed some bling for a costume, and I was thinking about my old unit patch... so I designed this. It looks neat, and it fit the bill. There's supposed to be some symbolism to a unit patch, sooo... at the risk of sounding pretentious, the goggles represent perception, and the steampunk aesthetic, which I like, the gear represents the mechanical side of making, and the resistor represents the electrical. The text reads, "SEMPER IN DOCTRINA, SEMPER FACIS", which is Latin for, "Always learnin
