Loved GaryJSmith's Drain Snake, but I had to reach lower into my pipes than his model would reach.

I quickly hacked together an extension piece. It's thinner than the original so it can twist and turn inside the pipe.

Loop the heels around both sides of the hole so that it's more secure when pulling out of the drain. Taping the joint also helps with making sure the pieces push down the drain in the first place.
