Acrylic or plywood Y carriage tend to deform under heat radiated from heated bed, during print. This deformation can affect print quality. Aluminum Y carriage plate will not be affected by heat and will solve this problem.

This plate is compatible with large number of Prusa i3 derivatives. Plate is designed for 170mm inter Y rod distance 3D Printers.

Plate supports various linear bearing mounting options, it also supports 3 point mounting for heated bed. Here we have it for sale:
