This is a case for the red (Nokia 510) LCD84x48 Pixel LCD display with SPI interface. The mounts for the board are now pin-based. You can glue or melt the pins after having installed the boards so it will stay in place.
The big hole is for a Mini-DIN connector. If you do not want one, you can close that hole with the little chip and use simple cable throughputs.
