Broom Stick Handle Repair Joiner Coupling

I remixed happysoul's broom stick repair joiner piece thingy. to add and improve the following.
1. Made it longer: For metal broom handles when you cut out the section of the bent squished part since it would have an oval shape by the crease you end up cutting a away a longer length of material so the remaining stick remainsuniform and round. Since you lose about 30-40mm of material I made this joiner longer to compensate.
2. Put a spacer on the inside to keep the two pieces apart...essentiall
