****UPDATE***
Ok so the good news it that it works! The bad news is that you have to mess with a couple settings.

Under Machine Settings>Z Offset: -.2 (this will help the first layer stick to the bed (also use a gluestick)

Under the expert settings and the Start.GCODE change it to the following:

;Basic settings: Layer height: {layer_height} Walls: {wall_thickness} Fill: {fill_density}
;Print time: {print_time}
;Filament used: {filament_amount}m {filament_weight}g
;Filament cost: {f
