This little box takes a standard SATA power cable and converts it into a power rail for a case build. Mount the box in the case and run individual power extensions to your devices.
Insert the female connectors into the slots and glue the retaining bridge over the back of the connector to keep the connector in place. Don't get glue on the connector itself. This allows you to remove the cable if you later need it for another build. Bend the cables down so that they fit within the enclosure. Hot glue helps here.
The case has cut holes for 8X3mm magnets. I found that all the pulling around of cables would drag the rail around. I used a couple of drops of hot glue to hold the rail in place. After you get all of the cables run and tied down, I doubt it would move anymore. Magnets worked great for temporally holding the rail where you think it might fit. Remember you need a fair amount of front clearance for the SATA power cables.
