Jbl Flip 3 Vertical stand

So I bought a JBL Flip 3 a couble of days ago and I wanted to be able to have it vertically sometimes, but when it stands vertically one of the bass elements will get blocked so a made this holder which has a cone to distribute the base better.

I'm not a professional audiophile so the cone at the botton might not be the best but I think it will spread the sound better, pls tell me if this is completly wrong and how i can improve it :)
