I wanted to silence my 3D printer a bit and I thought it was more like MAKERS to create silencers with the few things I had available.
I searched the exact dimensions of the NEMA 17 stepper on Google, and I drew the dimensions and position of the holes I would have made with the CAD, printing them on paper. I then took a piece of tube from an old tire (about 1.35 mm thick) and, once opened, I glued the drawings over the rubber. I cut everything and made the 5 mm holes using a punch
