Self Watering Garden Box - Watering Pipe Base

I built a self watering garden box. Normally I cut the copper fill pipe at an angle so that it does not rest flat on the bottom of the box. This time I used a HDPE liner in the box and I didn't want to risk the cut pipe damaging the liner. The top half of this this thing is a sleeve that a pipe can slide into. The bottom half has slots to allow the water to flow freely.
