Magnetic Putty Knife Holder

I wanted a holder to attach my putty knife that came with my CR-10s to the metal shelving unit that I store the printer on. This uses 1/2" x 1/8" magnets that are pressed into place with a dab of CA glue. I tried putting white paint on top of the raised letters but it did not work well...
